In an emotional excerpt from Farrah’s soon-to-be-released autobiography, the ‘Teen Mom’ shares the devastating details of losing her true love, Derek, when she was pregnant with their daughter Sophia.

Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham speaks out about her true love’s death. In her new book, My Teenage Dream Ended, the young mother shares her reaction to the death of her daughter’s father, Derek Underwood.

Farrah, 20, lost the love of her life to a heartbreaking car accident over three years ago. At the time, she was pregnant with her daughter, Sophia. The perfect life she envisioned with him and their baby was shattered when the man she loved suddenly died. Here is an excerpt from her new autobiography.

“I got off the phone and I tried to calm down, but my mind was racing. Derek was the father of the baby I was carrying inside me. He was my first love, my only true love.”

She continues: “We hadn’t spoken in more than two months, but crazily I had still hoped we had a future together — me, him, and our baby, as one happy family. It’s every teenage girl’s dream, isn’t it? You meet a boy, you fall in love, and then one day you have a family and grow old together, happily ever after.”

some should cut off this skanks legs and one arm so she has a reason to be on TV. All this skank did was get knocked up by a guy with an I.Q. of 95 (if that). She’s the poster child for butter faces. Seriously her head looks a 50 something old slut that blew her way into getting plastic surgery.

First of all, lets get one thing straight: I may not know farrah personally but Ive been in the same situation with my friend whose boyfriend wasnt sure that kid was his cause he had a mother like farrahs, he died when we were 16 in a car accident and she was in he same situation and it was hell on her First of all I watched Farrahs 16 & pregnant episode a million times, so I know enough to know none of you know what your talking about. Farrah is getting bad press even though ambers a way worse mother. Farrah broke up with derek because debra danielles is a manipulative conniving evil woman. You say farrahs manipulative? People learn what their taught. Farrahs mom told her she was going to be kicked out if she didnt dump derek, while i think farrah shouldve stood up to her mom i know thats easier said then done. She never filed a restraining order, and as for not talking about it on the show y should she have to? Seriously, she was grieving guys maybe it was too hard to let it out. You act like shes the only person thats wrote books. What about the 9/11 victims that wrote a book about what happened are they trying extend their 15 minutes of fame? seriously grow up and btw her book made the best sellers book, so shes laughing at all u haters to the bank!

Anne Marie Thank you for standing up for Farrah I agree with you so much. I think no one should be putting her done.because they have not walked in her shoes & they do not how it really feels unless they have gone thou it. .

P.S. she maybe scribbled down 2 paragraphs in one of her worthless school notebooks and had the GHOST WRITER FILL IN THE REST AND PLEASE FEEL FREE TO KILL YOURSELF IF YOU ACTUALLY BOUGHT THAT BOOK, AND CONTEPLATE SUICIDE IF YOU THOUGHT ABOUT READING THAT TRASH

I “BELIEVE” her…and IN her…She is only 20 and has been on national tv since she was 16, that has to have an effect on one’s life. She was in love, as we all were/are. Death is so final that ALL you do remember ‘are’ the good times…even after and going though a divorce..most woman then wonder if they could have done anything different and try to do ‘more’ to hang on…I lost ‘my’ soul mate and had a horrific life…( my parents stopped us from dating at 16 ) we looked for ea other for 30 yrs…right when I was to meet him…he died…You don’t think at 70…I still grieve ??

Please guys…her memories are hers! You don’t know anything about her relationship with the father…all you can do is speculate. Let her have her memories and leave her be…you know what they say, you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone. She now knows what she had and it is up to her to figure out how she wants to remember that. Remember, she has a story that she has to tell Sophia one day…that’s what’s important here!

While I personally don’t like the idea of an autobiography written by Farrah due to Sophia growing up and her lack of privacy, I do agree 110% with your comment.

I think she has romanticized the relationship to ensure that people feel sympathy. It doesn’t sound like the relationship was very secure (he was mean to her, etc) but it suits her purpose now to recast in the glow of afterthoughts. She can write whatever she wants I won’t contribute a penny to this spoiled diva.

She did nothing but bash him on 16 & Pregnant. All of a sudden she says she loved him and wanted them to be a family.
I call bull.

I feel terrible that one day Sophia will have to see the way her mother treated and talked about her father

Its easy to judge someone else’s situation because we are not the ones in their shoes. Yes, she has her bad traits but no one else can say how she truly felt about her child’s father. Even though they weren’t together at the time of his death she probably still loved him deep down and wanted it to work out someday. The fact that he died completely killed that hope for her and her daughter to have him in the picture forever and that would be very painful for anyone. Death is final and most people don’t understand how much it hurts.

Does anyone really care? I doubt her book will sell many copies, unless it has a lot of pictures, because you have to be able to read and I doubt her fan-base has that ability!

I think shes delusional. I mean she was trying to date while pregnant, cut derek out her life. I’m sure if he was alive they wouldnt be together and she would be bashing him. Shes only trying to paint a picture perfect life cuz she doesnt know how it would be.

I think in her 16 and pregnant episode she talks about how she had to change her cell number b/c he was calling her all the time and she got a restraining order, or order of protection from him. All she did was bash him in her episode, she is all about attention on herself and her fake tears.

she revealed later it was due to her mothers additude. I have a mother like hers. honestly sometimes it’s just easier to act like i hate people, or want certain things, then express my feelings and fight it out with her. her mother made the choice when farrah told her she was pregnant to cut the father out.

no offense butttttt….if Derek were alive, the chance of him actually staying with her after the baby was seriously sooo slim. she is so nagging and rude and annoying that I can’t see anyone in their right mind wanting to stay with her that long.

She has been through so much. I cannot even imagine how hard it must have been for her, especially him being her baby daddy. This truly breaks my heart. She has done and is doing an amazing job, she should be so proud of herself. It takes a very strong person to be a good teen mum, let alone one whos had to go through losing her love and her babys father. Don’t listen to haters Farrah, you’re an inspiration xxxxx
