Niall jokingly referred to some fans at the Dublin Airport as a ‘shower of c***s’. Realizing the term was inappropriate, Niall tweeted an apology. Were you offended by the One Directioner’s language?
Niall Horan, 18, returned home to Ireland on July 1 after finishing One Direction‘s U.S. tour, and accidentally offended some fans who greeted him.
In a video taken by a fan, Niall clearly says, “Remember the last time I walked down here? You shower of c*nts.” After the video surfaced, a backlash concerning Niall’s offensive language caused the singer to realize his wrongdoing.
Niall took to Twitter on July 6 to apologize to his fans: “Really sorry if I caused any offence. It was just banter with fans who I think of more as mates.” He then added, “But I understand that it’s not a word I should be using at all.”
Hopefully Niall will think twice before making a joke like that again!
