Katie Holmes Caught Crying After Intense Phone Conversation -- Report

Katie and Tom Cruise’s divorce is certainly heating up as evidenced by a recent phone call Katie received while visiting kid-friendly NYC eatery Alice’s Tea Cup on July 5 with daughter Suri Cruise! Find out all the details of the phone conversation that reportedly left Katie in tears!

According to a new report, Katie Holmes received an alarming phone call while out on a lunch date with Suri Cruise and a couple of her friends. Was Katie receiving a phone call from Tom Cruise?

On July 5, Katie, 33, reportedly huddled in a corner of Alice’s Tea Cup in NYC while two of her mom friends entertained Suri, 6, and the other kids in their group!

According to Us Weekly, the 15 minute phone conversation left Katie “flustered and upset,” before she oddly scrolled through her phone and then wiped away tears from her eyes! As we told you earlier, Katie has been noticeably happier since her split from Tom, so knowing Katie was left in tears after this mystery phone call leads us to believe it was very serious!

Katie reportedly returned to the group with a big smile on her face, hoping Suri wouldn’t notice her stressed state of mind!

Katie filed for divorce from Tom, 50, on June 28 and is currently seeking sole legal custody of their daughter. Katie and Tom will reportedly meet in a NYC courthouse on July 17 in hopes of Katie gaining child support!

People with different belief systems get divorced every day but do not have the positive financial situation these two people do. So I think Katie should just get a grip and do her divorce thing in private. She has turned Suri’s life into a 3 ring circus.

I don’t agree that she’s turned this into a 3 ring circus, but I do believe she’s not trying to hide anything either – and for damn good reason. You try divorcing a scary cult sometime. It’s like being with an abusive spouse – the more out in the open you are, the less likely they are to attack you again.

agreed, Tom is the circus fan. She’s just trying to carry on as a normal woman and mother starting a new life would, made harder by the fact of Tom’s personally chosen high profile.
It’s never easy leaving a marriage, everyone has emotional days even if it’s well and truly over. It’s nice to see her and her daughter out with other mums and kids.

wish them so much luck and feel so sorry for poor suri… i hope tom doesn’t beat this scientology sh!t into her and just lets her have a fun childhood free of strict dogmas. i’m sure katie won’t impede access to the child as long as that’s a followed rule. so scary.
