The star may be going through a difficult time, but when it comes to her fashion line she’s more focused than ever! She plans to debut the Holmes & Yang Spring 2013 collection at a presentation during New York Fashion Week — a first for the brand!
Katie Holmes may be divorcing Tom Cruise but her ties to her fashion label, Holmes & Yang, and her business partner, Jeanne Yang, are stronger than ever! Although the line launched in 2009 and is currently sold at Barneys New York, the brand never showed during New York Fashion Week — until now! Katie plans to bring the label to Fashion Week in September, where she will show the Spring 2013 collection during a presentation. If you thought the impending divorce could be clouding her judgement, think again!
A spokeswoman for the brand said Katie’s personal matters aren’t affecting the line at all. While the star is constantly spotted out and about in NYC and she recently moved into a new apartment with her daughter, Suri, it looks like the upcoming presentation is even more of a reason that Katie plans to stay grounded in the big city as a pose to LA. We’re so happy to hear that Katie is still hard at work and keeping her mind off of her crumbling marriage.
