‘Bachelorette’ Emily Maynard Was A ‘Mess’ After Chris Bukowski

Emily seemed pretty sure of her decision when she sent Chris home, but host Chris Harrison reveals she was a total disaster! Plus, Chris talks about Em’s difficult decision during the overnight dates!

It’s getting down to the wire for Bachelorette Emily Maynard!

And host Chris Harrison reveals in a new interview that these final episodes took an emotional toll on the 26-year-old blonde beauty.

“She was a mess. Emily was really emotional, not only that time is running out, but she was freaking out that she’s falling for three guys. She was thinking how tough it would be to say goodbye to Chris, but really I think she was thinking how it’s going to be impossible to say goodbye to Sean, Arie or Jef. It all hit her that she’s far from done,” Chris Harrison tells TV Guide.

However, the host says that next week she’ll face an even tougher situation: to choose an overnight date with Jef, Arie and Sean — or to set a good example for her six-year-old daughter, Ricki.

“I this scenario, it’s interesting because Emily is a mom so there’s definitely a conversation about it. Things aren’t going to get easier, and Emily’s not going to get an easy out. From here on out it’s Emily trying to choose a lifestyle, a father for Ricki and a great man and husband for herself. These guys get better each week and in my opinion she’s narrowed it down to three phenomenal guys,” Chris says.

Yikes! Well, it will definitely be interesting to see what happens.

I was shocked to see Chris go! He was the most handsome down the earth guy on the show. All the others are losers, and not even good looking, I guess she will get what she deserves.

I should know, I lived there for 15 years and know all about what goes behind scenes in Mormon world. There are a lot of Mormons who are just nice people are connected to the church more for social/career reasons. But, it’s history is scary — you’re very naive for standing up for something that you know little if nothing about. The Church controls its people – just try getting out of the church – not easy – and not usually possible – they’ll follow you wherever you go. THey baptize Catholics, those in the Jewish faith and others outside of their church, by proxy, into the Mormon Church and against the will of the person’s family/faith – just for starters. Much more goes on in that Church than you would ever believe or know and the Mormons you know won’t tell you what really goes on – they’re programmed to always give a clean-cut, polished view to the world of who they are. It’s a cult – period. Grow up.
And, about Emily, she’s in it for herself and to take her daughter along to a better life – but, that leaves all her options wide open – including hooking up with Chris H. You don’t know her and how she thinks as a mother.

It’s all so pre-planned. The Southern act is just that – an act. She has NO intention of hooking up with any of those guys. Chris Harrison is her guy – and I bet he’s helping to pick the guy who’s easy to dispose of at the end – just like Little Miss Georgia, DeAnna, did with her snowboarding boy. Both Southern Belles are just there to get their foot in the Hollywood door and then find some guy who’s well off and well connected – period!! She and Chris have no doubt decided on Jef – since his parents weren’t there for the Hometowns – and it may be less messy than with stronger men and family connections like Sean and Arie. She AIN’T moving to Utah to live with Jef who owns a water bottling company of some sort and raise her child in the Mormon cult of Utah. She’s worth $5M and AIN’t going anywhere too far from Charlotte – or Hollywood. She’s not going to marry a State Farm agent from Dallas either – she has bigger plans. Reason she’s so frantic about her hair and make-up is b/c shethinks that everything is riding on her time as the Bachelorette for her Hollywood future and she has to get it right. But, then, Chris H. is there – and his connections will open doors for her – doing something. What a big hoax – they’re all fame whores and will sell their souls for their big Hollywood break – not exactly marriage material.

i agree that she isn’t going to sleep with a man on national television when she’s got a 6 or 7 year old daughter. i mean, any mom knows that ain’t happenin’. if it does, nobody will have ANY respect for her. i wouldn’t be surprised if she’s shooting for hollywood, but i don’t think you go through something like this as a mom unless you’re really in it for love. i don’t know, but i don’t think she’s that low a person to drag her daughter through this if she’s not really looking for a husband. i do think it’d be neat if she and chris got together, but i don’t really believe it… tho maybe… as for the insult about mormons- that is out of line. the “cult” aspect of “mormon” is actually denounced by the religion and anyone i’ve ever known that practices it. poligamy and “sister wives” are not synonymous with main stream mormons and your comment is very insulting and ignorant. every mormon i have ever known has been very polite and considerate and nuclear family oriented. you should hold your uninformed tongue on that matter.
