The divorce battle between Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise will end up in Tom’s favor financially, according to a new report.
Their pre-nuptial agreement reportedly reads that Katie will walk away with exactly what she brought in, according to TMZ, and that’s far less than the $15 million that was reported earlier in the week.
However, sources say that Katie isn’t stressing about the money.
“She’s not about the money. She’s not that girl. She loves to work,” a source tells TMZ.
Combined TomKat is worth about $275 million.
The real battle will be about their six-year-old daughter Suri. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Katie wants full custody.
“Katie wants sole custody of Suri. She doesn’t want Tom polluting her with Scientology,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

I hate when people report that Tom and Katie is worth $275 million when the reality is Katie probably brought in just $5-$10 million of that total and the majority came before they even met.

Nicole, what a stupid title for this article. Even if Katie never works another day in her life there will be enough dough rolling in to keep her and daughter in style for years to come. It’s called child support. No doubt there will be many additional financial perks to sweeten the pie.

Well in 2009 she spent 15 million dollars in 6 months in new york.
Now she is living in a 12k/month apartment. She is a gold digger she is at new york because the court system is more private than california.

Katie’s parents supposedly never cared for Tom Cruise, but through the years they have certainly enjoyed the perks from his fortune. Tom will be caring for the entire family the rest of their lives; the Holmes’ are all “gold diggers.” This was planned for a long time to secure their futures. Katie knew that the age difference was too great between Tom and her, but she married him anyway. That girl has spent money like a crazy person these past five years, she is not so innocent. And everyone is talking about her outstanding career that Tom Cruise ruined, she was never any great actress. Why are people acting so upset about her now. Because of Tom, she will have plenty of money and their child will be well cared for the rest of her life. Tom Cruise should be able to spend time with his daughter though; Suri is a part of both of them. Greedy Katie is just going to have to adjust to the situation!

What do you mean “age difference was too great”? I have a relative who is 20 years younger than her husband, and when they met their annual incomes were within $10,000 of each other. I’m sure some situations are gold diggers, but not all.

I am an athiest, but Scientology is considered a religion in the US. She can’t claim sole custody on the basis her daughter’s father is devoutly religious. Unless Tom was a proven bad father then she is asking too much. Sole legal custody mean she will have complete control of suri. It probably has more to do with Katie wanting to live in New York while Tom lives in LA, and more physical custody. Besides who care about a few million when there wil be 25%of his income in child support every month?

Scientology is a cult as well as bunch of similar ideas, as the Americans like to call religions that were emerged during the last century, whose founders were wealthy and influental Americans who have brain washed unstable people with certain psychological problems. It is very sad to read newspaper headlines (more and more every day) because it turns out that the a great majority of evil actions came directly from America.
Congratulations to democracy and fights against discrimination, but in termes that have a limit, because not everything is normal and shouldn’t be legalized “in order to protect human rights” because most of cases like this caused more pain and suffer to people than made good. Society nowdays has more crazy and extreme people than before, and laws alow them to do what they want and spoil already largely broken society.
The law should prohibit these and other similar cults and their followers definitely put to psychiatric treatment, and if they have children, take this poor children far away from this lunatics before the harm them (mentally and physically).
I hope that Katie will get full custody and save her child from bunch of madman including her father!
