A new report says Katie was convinced that Tom was going to send Suri off to a big time organization known as Sea Org, a Scientology boot camp with ‘military-like conditions.’
Allegedly, the breaking point in Katie Holmes‘ decision to file for divorce was that she was convinced Tom Cruise was going to send away their daughter Suri to a radical Scientology organization called Sea Organization. Many reports already claim that Scientology was a main source of contention and that Katie allegedly fears that Scientologists are watching her every move.
Sources told TMZ, that Katie, 33, and Tom, 49, had been arguing over 6-year-old Suri’s indoctrination into Scientology, claiming that Tom wanted to send Suri off to Sea Org, or a boot camp where the highest levels of Scientology are taught and kids as young as five can be sent to live there without their parents.
Ex-Scientologists have spoken out against its military-like conditions. Sea Org members sign “a one-billion-year pledge to symbolize their eternal commitment to the religion” and it is still signed by all members today.
Former member Aaron Judge told the Sunday Telegraph in Australia: “The Sea Org is like a military organization. You live in cramped quarters, are served food in the cafeteria area and you basically work from 8:30 in the morning through to 11:30 at night.”
HollywoodLifers, do YOU think Katie should be afraid for Suri?
