Nastia Liukin's Olympic Bid Squashed With Face Plant To The Mats — Video

In a traumatic twist to the 2012 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team Trials, Nastia fell flat on her face when performing on the uneven bars! Watch the video!

Nastia Liukin ended her bid for the 2012 Olympics with a faceplant to the mats at the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team Trials in San Jose on Sunday July 2!

Nastia’s fall happened early in the night, earning her a score of 13.950.

Despite her nasty fall, Nastia did receive a standing ovation from the crowd! And on a brighter note, Nastia will go to London as the athlete representative for the Federation of International Gymnasts!
