Ann Curry tried to hold in her emotions on Thursday June 28 as she publicly announced her exit as co-anchor of the Today show! But even after the cameras stopped rolling, Ann’s tears allegedly kept flowing — all the way to the airport!
According to the New York Post, “The minute she was finished, she was out of that building.” The report claims that Ann immediately jumped into a town car, following her announcement, and headed for the airport!
Ann was allegedly heading to California in order to attend a wedding of a family friend!
We certainly hope Ann gets much rest and relaxation this weekend as she will be joining her Today show colleagues again to cover the Summer Olympics in late July!
