Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes announced their divorce on Friday June 29, and now Tom’s rep claims that Katie was the one who initiated the split — filing in New York City on June 28!
Tom’s rep told HollywoodLife.com, ”Kate has filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened and is concentrating on his three children. Please allow them their privacy to work this out.”
An insider also tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Katie wants sole custody of Suri. She doesn’t want Tom polluting her with Scientology. She basically wants to protect her daughter and keep her away from all these freaks!”
TMZ reports that Tom was ”blindsided” by the split!
Katie has been in New York City the past few days with Suri and the former Dawson’s Creek actress looked very sullen and tired! It seems as though the decision to split from Tom, 49, weighed heavily on her!

This lady is some piece of work. She looks so sweet but stoops to use the custody of her child ( sole) to gain points in her Divorce. I say there has to be a special place in hell for women like this.
Was or Is Tom Cruise such a monster that he deserves to be deprived of his daughter?
