Photographers flock to Katie Holmes’ NYC apartment after she files for divorce from Tom Cruise! HollywoodLife.com speaks to an eyewitness about what is happening at Katie’s home.
Katie Holmes shocked the world today with the announcement she had filed for divorce from Tom Cruise yesterday. Now, her NYC apartment is surrounded by photographers and press, and we spoke to an eyewitness at the scene.
“There are several paparazzi scattered outside her apartment building [near Union Square],” reveals our source. “[Katie and Tom's] apartment seems to be the penthouse of the building with a balcony facing east. She comes out onto the balcony often, but there is not a good view of it from the street.”
Our insider overheard reporters saying she “may have left town” but that she hasn’t been seen boarding a flight in the last 48 hours. Tom and Katie also apparently have a second apartment in NYC, in Chelsea, and Katie may be staying there.
Although there is a lot of press outside of her home, in terms of Katie being around “there does not seem to be a lot of action” in her neighborhood, the eyewitness tells us.
