The singer tweeted to her fans to check out the sexy commercial for her new fragrance. Do you think it’s over-the-top seductive? Sound off!

Selena Gomez, 19, released the video campaign for her debut perfume and the sexy new ad features her tumbling underwater in a long, flowing gown. We see dangerously close shots of her legs as she walks. She eventually emerges from the sea to gaze seductively at the camera. Her hit song Love You Like A Love Song plays in the background the entire time.

The video ends with a quick flash of the fragrance bottle that’s easy to miss! It’s clear Selena’s sexy moves are the man attraction! What is this ad really selling?  Is this commercial more of a music video than a perfume ad? Watch it for yourself here:

I think this is GREAT! she is very beauty and i bet the people that says she ugly are UGLY! and she is no slut at all, Her give BJ and other things is her a slut. Think about it before you call someone that and She is almost 20 and shes getting older and i think she would pull this off no matter what. 100 FANTASTIC and people are just jealous that she is success and other people are not. 5 Stars!!! :D

It is kind of too much for her, because of her baby face, but she’s growing up and she can show it if she wants…just not like other celebrities.

Well, she is almost 20. I don’t think it’s inappropriate at all. And Selena is by no means a slut. She doesn’t fit any description of a slut in my opinion. I hope her perfume is a huge success.

oh ho ho, trust me… there are plenty of men that will be happy using that image of her baby face. but i agree, it’s kind of creepy and pedophilish to me to think about guys getting off to this girl… but that’s just b/c i’m old!

How is she a whore? A whore is someone who has sexual interactions with several different people. How does this video tell you that? I’d like to know. She has a sultry vibe, but that doesn’t make her a whore. Unless you’ve got proof of her sleeping around with several guys, don’t try saying ‘believe it or not, she’s a whore’ unless you have some solid, valid proof.

actually, a whore is someone who gives sex in exchange for money… if a woman simply enjoys sex and has had several partners, that doesn’t make her a whore anymore than it makes a man a whore. someone might say that celebrities are whores b/c they sell their sexual images for money… but, i’m not so prudish. i’ll save the whore word for people who are f’ing for money or favors… male or female.

i don’t think being an artist, if she is one, has anything to do with this. it’s just a way to make money and brand herself. perfumes are clearly all the rage these days in the celeb portfolio- and of course her beau has done the same. it’s just a job…

I don’t think it is. It’s not like the perfume is supposed to represent bubble gum & cup cakes. In the commercial, she isn’t childish. Childish is doing songs with Build-A-Bear like Victoria Justice. Selena’s perfume wont effect anything on her acting career.

it’s just a way to make money and brand herself. it doesn’t effect her acting career negatively. liz was selling perfume all the time… i’m sure plenty of other actresses have done the same. even if they don’t put out their own fragrance, they get behind other company’s fragrances. it’s the same thing. not childish, doesn’t negatively impact an on-screen presence.
