Chris Pine Reveals He’d ‘Consider’ Playing Christian Grey

HollywoodLife.com caught up with Chris at the NYC premiere of his upcoming film ‘People Like Us’ and he says although he hasn’t been approached to play Christian Grey in the film adaptation, he’s open to reading the script.

Could Chris Pine be fulfilling the fantasy of women all over the world? The 31-year-old actor tells HollywoodLife.com that he knows fans think he’d be the perfect choice to play E.L. James‘ S&M loving billionaire but he simply hasn’t even been approached by Universal Pictures and Focus Films who are making the movie.

“I havent read the books and I haven’t been offered the script so I don’t know anything about the book other than it’s basically pornographic literature,” Chris told us at the premiere hosted by The Cinema Society with Linda Wells & Allure. ”I have not read anything and you know if there’s a script … maybe I’d read a script but other than that I don’t know anything.”

At least it’s not a complete no! Ashley Greene and Kristen Stewart are reportedly both interested in playing Anastasia Steele. We think Chris would be a perfect Christian Grey, do you?

CHRIS PINE IS THE PERFECT PERSON TO PLAY AS CHRISTIAN GREY!!! He has the copper colored hair, the beautiful grey eyes, hair on his chest, great lips and smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Chris is the PERFECT person to play Christian! Not only his looks but did you see him in Star Trek? He’s got the personality down already. Can’t think of a better person for the role!

i am sorry but at first i didnt know why people were so obsessd with this book turning into a film, then i read on wikipedia abou tthe book and they should totally do it. Chris would be perfect for the role and maybe Megan fox or Natalie portman, or even mila kunis for the female role.

He is PERFECT for this part and he can act! Those eyes and lips… Wow… He is so Christian.

I never thought of Chris Pine for Christian….but now that I actually really look at him, he would be absolutely PERFECT for Christian! Just imagining him with darker hair. Yup perfect. I hope to goodness that Ian S. is not chosen for Christian.
