A Bronx tow-truck driver delivered a baby after being flagged down by a man and his wife going into labor! The father couldn’t deliver the child himself because it is forbidden in his religion.
Driver Antonio Paulino was driving his truck through East Harlem on June 24 when a married couple got his attention.
“My wife is giving birth,” the man told Antonio according to a New York Post report.
Being Orthodox Jewish, the father told the driver that it was against his religion to touch his wife or the baby during the birth.
Then the driver did what he had to do…
“I reached in and took the baby out,” Antonio, 50, said.
