Were you surprised to learn who the kanima really is, or did you suspect it all along? (Warning: spoilers ahead!)
With Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) and his crew of furry fury out for Lydia’s (Holland Roden) blood — he became convinced she was the kanima after she remained unaffected by its toxin — it was up to Scott (Tyler Posey) and friends to keep her safe on the June 25 episode of Teen Wolf. Little did they know…
Jackson (Colton Haynes) was the kanima all along! A closer look at the footage from the full moon revealed a yellow-eyed — and thankfully shirtless — Jackson rising from his bed. He ended up slithering off into the night, but not before a whole bunch of crazy s**t went down.
My favorite part of the mayhem was Allison’s (Crystal Reed) little showdown with Erica (Gage Golightly), in which she finally put her hunter skills to use and shot the boyfriend-stealing bitch. I understand what it means to sink your claws into someone, but Erica takes that phrase to a very literal — and very skanky — level with Scott. That chick needs to be gone, like, yesterday.
And what was up with that last scene? Jackson, as the kanima, communicated with someone in a car — I guess Ms. Morrell (Bianca Lawson) was right when she said it needed a friend — but who was it? The science teacher? Ms. Morrell? I guess that bumper sticker was a pretty big clue.
I have to admit, though, I was kind of hoping the kanima would turn out to be Danny (Keahu Kahuanui), but only so that his character could finally serve a purpose.
Lastly, this week’s special kudos go to Derek for having the two most ridiculous lines of the night: ”You’re a snake, Jackson, but not the one we’re looking for” and “You’re already an Alpha … of your own pack.”

i dont know what is up with this show sometimes. They are keeping us in the dark about the vet and the councilor. But i have a theory. Maybe the Ms. Morrel or however you spell it is the other kanima and maybe her dad is the vet? Idk just a stab in the dark but it would explain how he knows so much about shapeshifters and explains the councilor’s position a little idk just a guess

At the pool seen one of them made a connection with
Stiles like they knew him. That was Lydia and Scott held
up a peice of glass n the Kanima rain off .
It doesnt like seeing it self in the mirror
or reflections. …. Thats Lydia!

I think that the person in the car at the end of episode 5 was Jacksons real mum or dad, who else would he have a connection with?

I think the person in the car was Lidia, The Vet Guy, or The counsulor. Lidia because when stiles said wait 5 min dereks gang ran into him and asked him questions and the kanima showed up and then scott showed up n fought it off it ran away i think that one was Lidia because derek said it doesnt know wat it is or who and she passed it on to jackson and it looked like lidias car and the vet because he knows a lot more about the super natural stuff than almost anyone and then the counsulor because she was playing dumb when she was reading latin to allisyn. Thats my opinion tho so hope that un confused you xD.

I think it could possibly be Scott’s boss (the vet). He seems to know a lot about the whole wolf situation. For example he knew how to keep Peter from crossing the counter when he showed up at the animal clinic looking for Scott.If it’s not him, he has to have some role still to be revealed at some point.

The Kanima at the pool had to be Jackson! Why else would they have the coach pull Scott aside and ask about that lacrosse pads that were RIPPED. Scott found out they were Dannys, who wasn’t wearing them. And lately, JacksOn has become very close with Danny. So Jackspn must have been wearing them before he turned into the Kanima and attack Stiles and Derek at the pool. And I feel like Lydia is immune to the bite, and the venom from the snake because before she could transform, Derek killed Peter(the old alpha), the one who bit her. So I think Peter is trying to come back to life THROUGH Lydia. Hence why her body isn’t processing the venom or bite.

Also I really hope Jackson is saved and that Lydia has something to do with it because that would be just awsome and then they would finally get back together!!! :)) Also i wish Jackson would have just turned into a wolf and that the camera guy was the Kanima. Then the guy in the car i think it is Alison’s grandfather!!

Really enjoyed the episode – I can’t believe how much better the show is at maintaining it’s various storylines. You’re right, Andy, the “bitch” showdown was great fun. It’s always nice to see the bad girl get taken out (I like that Allison used her wits instead of stupidly trying to battle Erica physically)
The science teacher would be a good fit for the Kanima’s “friend” though I hope the show pulls a twist out.

Both Jackson AND Lydia are those Kanimas.. They take it in turns to change or something.. She suspected it was him and went to change the tape to protect him and the changed into it herself … I dont know what makes them switch though.. that is what I think anyways

it is 2 because if u saw they had 2 different types of patterns and colors and lydia is maybe 1 because she wasn’t infected by the venom and jackson was and derrick says a snake cant be poisoned by its own venom

i just saw a sneak peak for next weeks episode and Allison and scoot were in the same car that Jackson headed to which means the car belongs to Allison’s family. in my opinion it could either be the grandfather or even Allison’s mom or dad that was in the car.

Thats absolutely wrong. At the end of venomous, the car that the kanima goes up to is VW Jetta. In the preview shown on Teen Wolf Revelations, the car Allison and Scott jet into is 100% NOT a VW Jetta. So even though the car MIGHT belong to Allison’s family, it is not definitely their car.

That quote kind of makes me think it’s Ms. Morrell. All we’ve seen from her so far is the ink blot tests she’s done with Lydia — and aren’t those all about imagination? Plus, she was pretty quick to suggest the kanima needed a friend.

I think there are two kanima, Jackson and Lydia. Keep in mind that Lydia was unaffected by the kanima goo, but Jackson was. I believe this is because that goo came from Lydia herself and, according to Derek, Lydia would thus be immune to it, but not necessarily Jackson.
To me, the kanima that attacked at the school was Lydia. Derek and Co. likely Collected kanima goo from that.evening at the pool. If it was Lydia, this may explain why she was unaffected by the goo, because it came from her.
Also, the opening credits have shown Lydia and Jackson together, even though they broke up last season. This may be symbolic, maybe suggesting that they are linked. Maybe as kanima.

I do think it’s noteworthy that Lydia and Jackson appear together in the opening credits. There’s definitely a link there, but I have a feeling it’s more that she’s the only one who can control him. She does have that weird immunity, after all.

I think the thing jackson (kamina) communicated with in the car was another one of them, it looked like it had claws as well and it sort of makes sense with jackson being adopted he’s always felt a need to prove himself. Even his parents in teen wolf season 1 said that. I’m wondering is the reason he didn’t become a werewolf was bcause back in season 1 derek claws the back of his neck when he had the monkshood bullet in his arm.

i think we should assume that Jackson is NOT the only Kanima. his eyes did not match. in the other episodes the kanima had solid yellow eyes, yet this time we see the kanima (jackson) he actually has green eyes with a red tint. that is not the same. i think we need to understand that although there were plenty of clues pointing to jackson, we may have one not two.

Iwasnt sure but I thought it was jackson…he was the one that showed he had powers by lifting the truck…he is also adopted and I think the car at end has something to do with that… I still think that lydia might become a wolf too….

I already knew it was Jackson because in the first season when Derek stabbed his claws into Jacksons back, he used the hand with the magic bullet in it. In the episode Magic Bullet, Derek stated that the bullet was different, hence the word magic :P in the episode after that one Jackson experienced a green scaly claw come out of his mouth and I don’t know about you guys but I’d say that claw that came out of his mouth was most definitely not a werewolf claw it HAD to be a I don’t know .. Abomination ? Thanks to Derek’s aggression, Jackson one of the hottest guys on the show is now a really disturbing sight to see a.k.a the Kanima

Also during that parent teacher conference in season 1, it was revealed that Jackson was in fact adopted. That gave me an idea it was bc Derek said that the kanima doesnt know what it is which can relate to an adoptive child. Hell the person in the car at the end of the episode could have been one of his biologicalj parent. That just a theory though.

I don’t meant to burst your bubble here, but in that season 1 episode where Jackson is looking in the mirror in the locker room, and he sees the hand coming out, that was him hallucinating that Peter was coming out of his body.It wasn’t green and scaly and it was Alpha Werewolf black, or dark dark brown, or whatever.

NOPE..I agree with the two kanimas, Jackson was posiened because it wasnt his venum..lydia was bitten by peter (old alpha) you can either die or change..but see the alpha died..and so did her bite, so she doesnt change I think she has the cure to the bite, ses imune to everything like the venum and bites.. the kanama’s friend it the science teacher hence the bumper sticker and i think peter is trying to come back through lydia..my thoughts though i am half right im sure!
