A new biography about the incredibly talented singer reveals that she had a love affair with a bisexual man and he totally broke her heart — is this who her songs are based on?
Adele has learned a lot about heartbreak. In an upcoming book titled: Adele: The Biography by Marc Shapiro, he claims Adele fell in love with a guy when she was 18 years old that has influenced her music ever since.
“One thing we know … is that it was a first love gone terribly bad,” writes the author. “While wise in the ways of the world, she was still a young girl when it came to affairs of the heart.”
Adele herself has actually commented on this brief romance: “All the things I wanted from a boyfriend, he was never going to be. I was so jealous and I couldn’t see myself fighting off boy as well as girls.”
But now Adele is living with her fiance Simon Konecki — now it seems we will only be getting love songs from her.
