The ‘American Idol’ runner-up is heading to McKinley High! What role do YOU think she should play?

After coming in second on American Idol this past season, Jessica Sanchez is headed in a new direction — actually, make that New Directions. Our sister site TVLine reports that Jessica, 16, is in talks to join the cast of Fox’s Glee in a recurring role after wrapping up the American Idols LIVE! tour.

Jessica’s role has yet to be formed, but now that Rachel (Lea Michele), Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Santana (Naya Rivera) have fled McKinley’s hallowed halls, there’s a serious diva void that needs to be filled — and Jessica’s definitely got the pipes.

Every renditions she makes with every song is really awesome and heavenly. I really can’t get enough of her voice. I would like to watch her sing her rendition of “I don’t wanna miss a thing” i hope to see and watch her on Glee!!!!

Every song she sings is unbelievable. I would really like to see her sing “The Prayer” on Glee. Can’t wait to see her on Glee. I know she will be fantastic.

It’s about time !!! Thanks for keeping music alive all the time through the wonderful voice of our own Jessica Sanchez! I’m so proud of her! Rihana, Beyonce, Houston, and many more….love her music!

Booo I love Glee, I don’t want Jessica to ruin it! She has a good voice, but was given way too many compliments on Idol and not enough criticism! She seemed like she was just a fake little beast, as you watch all the other contestants she was the ONE that they didn’t seem to genuinely like and care about.

I’d love to see Jessica Sanchez on Glee, but I want to hear a new album from her. I want her to get her music career going, get her name out there because she has a great voice. Hope she finds the best songwriters, producers and musicians to anchor her first album.But I do like that she’s in demand on the music and TV ends even 2 months after she competed on Idol.

I stopped watching Glee because i lost interest in it. The actors are getting old – not really teenagers anymore but adding Jessica is a brilliant idea. A teenager with big pipes! She will do fine.

I Don’t watch Glee but because jessica is going there, I will make it sure that i watch every series. i am no teenager anymore, in fact i could be jeesica’s grandma but i am mesmerised by this diva’s voice and poise! i hope she won’t be carried away by fame…..

This girl diva has really stormed the world with her voice and poise. Fox would definitely make high ratings because of her. in fact, i do think that the strategy to save Jessica made the show more exciting this year. and to watch jessica with the legend jennifer holiday completed the trimmings!
