Justin had a super private dinner in NYC to celebrate the release of his new album, and we have all the details from the intimate gathering right here! Find out what went on inside the private party.
Justin Bieber celebrated the release of his record-breaking album Believe on Jun. 18, where the star was joined by an intimate group of around 75 people, consisting of friends, family and top music execs for a super-secret dinner party at Lower East Side restaurant Sons of Essex. A guest tells us Justin rented out the entire restaurant for the private party — and it was so much fun!!
After a day full interviews and TV appearances, Justin, 18, made his way to the super trendy NYC restaurant — and while we spotted Selena in town, he turned up solo for the big night. “She[Selena] wasn’t there, she couldn’t make it,” a guest tells us. While she wasn’t at the dinner, we think it’s so sweet that his supportive girlfriend was in town for Bieber’s big release day!
Party-goers watched the NBA Finals Game and then danced the night away, sipping on specialty, non-alcoholic cocktails designed with the man of the hour in mind! “Everyone ate dinner, hung out and watched the OKC vs Miami Heat NBA Finals Game. When the game was over, Justin’s DJ played some tunes and everyone hung around to enjoy the rest of the party,” a guest tells us. ”They served up special, non-alcoholic cocktails just for Justin! There was ‘The Boyfriend’ (made up of sweetened lime juice, club soda, squeezed fresh lime, grenadine, cherry garnish) and ‘The All Around The World’ (sprite, orange juice, grenadine, lime garnish),” a guest said.
As for the menu, they dined on five spice pork belly sliders, hen & waffles, mac-n-cheese balls, mushroom truffle pizza, and truffle grilled cheeses. For the main course they opted for the restaurant’s famous burger, pineapple glazed baby back ribs with guss’ fried pickles & truffle french fries.
The restaurant decorated their infamous chalkboards for the special occasion, featuring congratulatory messages for Justin. Luckily, Lower East Side blog the Bowery Boogie managed to sneak in the next day to capture the only image from the intimate affair.
While it sounds so fun, we’re sad to hear Selena missed the intimate gathering!

Who cares if Justin went to a dinner without Selena its not like his life depends on her
