It’s a mother daughter fashion face-off, as the ‘KUWTK’ stars are seen out wearing almost the same Stella McCartney dress close to a year apart. Question is — who do YOU think wore it better? VOTE!

Kim Kardashian, 31, loves to show off her infamous figure in practically everything she wears — even if it means taking a cue from mom Kris Jenner‘s closet! While Kris was the first to rock the sheer, polka-dot Stella McCartney dress, Kim opted for a seriously similar version in Paris — almost a year later!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t mom the last person most girls want to play copycat with?

This Stella McCartney polka dot dress is definitely a popular number — and it hasn’t just been seen on the mother-daughter duo. We’ve seen Gisele work it with nothing underneath on the cover of a mag, while Kate Winslet stormed the red carpet looking sexy and chic.

While I wouldn’t expect to see it on Kris, the Kardashian ladies love to push the envelope! The momager was the first to be seen sporting the body-con number on Sept. 6 in NYC — and she looked fantastic! Her long slip was key to keeping the frock uniformed without revealing too much.

Kim, on the other hand, opted for a more risqué version of the dress on Jun. 18 in Paris. While the reality star wore the dress the way she bought it, complete with the nude panels, the fact that the slip stopped right under her infamous backside drew more attention to the lining — it almost looks like it was a wardrobe malfunction even though it wasn’t!

If you want to wear sheer, you have to be strategic when it comes to covering up — a full lining that matches your skin tone is the best way to work the look — and Kris definitely did a better job in this instance.

Distracting slip aside, personally I think the dress is better suited for Kim, (and it’s so consistent with her sexy style), the nude panels were so distracting — they took away from the sexy sheer! What do you think? Who worked the sheer trend best?
