As we exclusively reported, Khloe Kardashian really wants to have a baby, as she’s been spotted making multiple trips to the Art Reproductive Center. So how likely will another little Kardashian join the family?
Fertility Expert Dr. Joel Batzofin of New York Fertility Services tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, ”assuming Khloe is a non-smoker, her uterus is normal and Lamar Odom’s sperm count is normal, she has a 40-to-50 percent chance of getting pregnant.”
The odds are in her favor, as Dr. Batzofin, who does not treat Khloe, 27, or Lamar, 32, says, ”IVF is a very effective treatment. Khloe should feel optimistic that it’s going to work out.”
Khloe has openly struggled with infertility problems. So what happens if IVF doesn’t give Khloe and Lamar their baby?
“If the in vitro fertilization doesn’t work after three or four cycles, then we move on to Plan B,” responded Dr. Batzofin. “We discuss other options and examine the problems. If the sperm is bad, then we can discuss using someone else’s sperm. It really depends on all the details.”
The price per cycle typically ranges from $10,000-$15,000, says the doctor.
