One lucky Justin Bieber fan got hold of his MuchMusic award trophy — only to be asked for it back! Oops!
Justin Bieber loves giving back to his fans, but may have taken it a bit too far this weekend at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto!
According to a story by TMZ, after accepting the trophy for UR Favorite Artist, Justin made his way off stage into a crowd of screaming Beliebers. One of them grabbed onto the trophy and Justin, thinking she was an overly enthusiastic award show official, handed over his irreplaceable award.
Luckily, a real award show official caught the mistake and was able to get the trophy back from the fan. But that doesn’t mean she’ll go home empty-handed! Justin’s rep told TMZ that he feels bad for getting her hopes up and wants to track her down to give her a replica of the award, but the girl hasn’t come forward yet.
We love how much Justin adores his fans — even the ones that snatch things out of his hands!
