'True Blood' Season 5: Which Couples Are You Shipping So Far?

Sookie & Alcide? Pam & Tara? Jason & Steve? Tell us which Bon Temps twosomes you’re rooting for this summer!

We’re only two episodes into True Blood‘s fifth season, and along with a boat load of new vampires in town, we’ve also been given a ton of new potential pairings. So it’s time to play Cupid, and tell HollywoodLife.com which couples you hope to see shacking up in the coming weeks. Let those ships set sail!

Sookie & Alcide: With both of her vampire suitors otherwise indisposed, Sookie (Anna Paquin) is totally up for grabs — and Alcide (Joe Manganiello) is very good at grabbing stuff.

Sookie & Bill/Eric: Even though Sookie told Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) to both take a hike last season, I know there are still plenty of fans hoping she’ll change her mind. If only we had her telepathy so we could know what she’s thinking!

Eric & Nora: They may call each other “brother” and “sister” — even during sex, which is gross — but Eric and Nora (Lucy Griffiths) aren’t technically related, so I say let the good times roll!

Jason & Jessica: This whole “friends with benefits” thing sounds OK in theory, but in a surprising turn of events, Jason (Ryan Kwanten) discovered he’s ready to settle down!

Jason & Steve: Admit it, you’re totally curious to see what a relationship would be like between Jason and “gay vampire American” Steve (Michael McMillian) — no matter how glamouring would be needed.

Pam & Tara: Relations between vampires and their makers don’t tend to end well — I’ll never forget watching Lorena’s head do a 180-degree spin when she had sex with Bill — but I feel like Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten) and Tara (Rutina Wesley) could have something special.

Lafayette & ANYONE: After unwillingly stabbing Jesus (Kevin Alejandro) to death last season, poor Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) was left living the single life. He’s an emotional wreck, once again, but maybe a nice new man in his life would change all that!

You Bill fans are truly repellent. You want Sookie to get back with the guy who cheated on her and had her beaten. You’re sick. Not only that, but now he’s a religious extremist and terrorist who executes people for being infidels. Oh, and he also wants to slaughter humanity. i am perfectly happy with Bill and Sookie together. i am even willing to allow Bill and Sookie and Eric as a threesome. but i can’t stand the thought of Sookie with anyone else, or Bill with anyone else. I do not read or intend to read the books for fear Bill and Sookie will be lost to one another. i sure hope that TrueBlood does not let my heart down.

Eric fans say they do not care if Bill&Sookie are out front in this poll….but they keep coming back and voting! lol Season 5 is sooo far away from the books now, I don’t even know why the Eric shippers think Sookie will end up with him on True Blood. I would be more worried about what CH is planning to do with her last book coming out May 2013. A lot of Eric~friendly reviewers are already staying it doesn’t look good for E/S in the books either. The majority seem to think CH is leaning towards Sam with Sookie in the end.

Your right, in the show Sookie and Bill will probably end up together because the producer and writers seem to feel that first love is the best love even if it is a destructive kind of love, and snore bore Bill and his doormat Sookie in that respect are a perfect match. In the books, Sookie will probably end up with Sam because she is at heart a small town girl wanting nothing more then acceptance from her small town community. The big bad exciting world outside Bon Temps is not what she wants. All that aside, CH has created a strong, exciting, multi-dementional, sexy, intellegent, pragmatic, character in Eric Northman, and in TB Alexander Skarsgård has brought that character to life with the added bonus of an incredible sense of humor. In all truthfulness the character of Eric both in print and on screen is far and away better then all the rest and deserves so much more then Sookie.

Eric doesn’t need his fans to robo vote him, because he has much much bigger fanbase than Bill. If the poll only allowed you to vote once, Eric always wins by a large margin. Everyone knows, the casts know that Alex/Eric is their biggest draw, even Stephen Moyer admitted that Eric and Sookie is good for the show. And by the way, Bill might be the King of Lousiana but he will always be outshadowed by Sheriff Northman who deliberately shy himself of politics.

i will accept sookie with eric and bill together but in my heart sookie will always belong with bill, no matter what. hands down bill and sookie are the best couple. i only watch this show for bill and sookie.

I think some of you bill and sookie fans are caught up in the real life couple of Paquin and Moyer and I agree those two seem to be each others soulmates but on true blood …I don’t see them as soulmates as sookie and bill, he was her first love and he lied to her constantly and could’ve been truthful and was trying to kill his competition for her in Eric until Eric told her the truth after the attempt didn’t work….Eric doesn’t try to control her he wants her to grow….bill wants to control her …..I see her fit with Eric better than bill ….going back to bill is going backwards, going with Eric is moving and growing forward.

Bill the liar and manipulator that constantly strives to act like he is a decent vampire but really is just a douche bag all along. He constantly tried to control Sookie and when he found out she had feelings for Eric he tried to put Eric in cement so that he didnt want the competition that he would lose to…..Eric has placed his life on the line for Sookie and she didn’t realize that he had until last season….wake up you bill lovers Eric has always been the better vampire and Bill knows it ….quit being so pathetic you people would probably want your daughter to be with an abuser such as bill too.

Sure hope CH is planning the HEA for Eric and Sookie….there was no sex at all between them in the last DEAD book. I wouldn’t hold out much hope for them on TB…just sayin’…..

E/S is more popular I agree, but about the rigged, nah, you just can just keep voting over and over if you choose. A handful Bill fans are just robovoting. E/S was winning by far last night. It’s cool. If winning a poll on Hollywoodlife is that important to them, I say who cares.
