Congratulations are in order for Carly Rae! The Canadian singer, whose hit song ‘Call Me Maybe’ is currently number one on the Billboard Hot 100, made her debut at the MuchMusic Video Awards on June 17 with an amazing performance — and she took home three big awards!
Justin Bieber, 18, has always been very supportive of his friend (and fellow Canadian) Carly Rae Jepsen, 26. So after her huge night June 17 at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards, Justin once again reminded the world just how much he loves Carly Rae.
At the MMVAs, Carly Rae won awards for UR FAVE Video, MuchMusic.com Most Streamed Video, and Video of the Year! Justin was so proud of Carly Rae that after the awards show he tweeted, “IM VERY PROUD OF @CARLYRAEJEPSEN 2nite! SHE WAS A SUPERSTAR!! PROUD OF YOU! CANADA STAND UP!” We think it is so great that Justin is so supportive of his friend Carly Rae!
Justin has been Carly Rae’s biggest supporter from the beginning of her career. In February , Carly Rae was signed to Schoolboy Records, which is run by Justin’s manager Scooter Braun. Justin also showed his support for Carly Rae when he appeared with her on The Ellen Degeneres Show in March where she made her television debut.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Justin Bieber is a great friend?
