In honor of Father’s Day, HollywoodLife.com caught up with celeb dads Tim Allen, Joel McHale, and Mark Paul Gosseler to find out their tips and tricks to keeping a happy household.

You never know what you’ll get when you’re raising your kids, it will always be a unique experience that everyone will have their own tips and tricks on how to do it best. So consider us happy that Hollywood’s best Dad’s gave us their own tips to help us all out!

During the SAG Foundation’s 3rd Annual LA Golf Classic even big name actor dads have a hard time getting their kids to do what they want them to do. Community’s Joel McHale joked about his fathering skills saying, “Just sugar! Sugar! I just like to throw raw sugar at them I usually like to lay it down like I am laying down gun powder and they just snort it up!”

But it didn’t end there as Saved by the Bell’s Mark Paul Gosseler took a more conventional approach to raising his kids, saying, “I think we try to be as honest as possible with them. If I ask them to do something and they ask why, I try not to say because I said so or give a lame reason… If its something like, why do I have to eat this broccoli, because I want you to eat healthy. Its not something like the broccoli monster is going to come out and attack them.”

Actor Tim Allen who has helped many Dads with his voice in the Toy Story films who admitted to not really having a secret to parenting and claimed it’s actually all luck! “Right now I have a three-year-old and she is the biggest ‘No’ queen, She’ll just be like… ‘No, no, no’ and will stare right at you,” he says, going on to joke, “I mean I could light her on fire and I am so much bigger then her and you’d think that would bother her and she would be just like ‘No’!

Well HollywoodLifers, regardless of some of the best Hollywood Dads ideas on their own personal parenting styles, we really admire ALL of the great dads out there who do their part daily to make things right! Happy Father’s Day to them all!
