The infamous nightclub brawl between Drake and Chris may be over, but was it planned by Drake all along? A rap verse in Rick Ross’ ‘Stay Schemin” seems to indicate a premeditated attack! Read all the details below!
Drake and Chris Brown were involved in a nightclub brawl with one another during the early hours of June 14! While the altercation came as a surprise to some, Drake’s rap verse on Rick Ross’ “Stay Schemin’” may suggest that it was a fight in the making for quite some time!
Drake was featured in the said track from Rick’s 2012 Mixtape “Rich Forever.” While many assumed and still think the track is about fellow rapper Common, in response to his track “Sweet,” lyrics may suggest otherwise!
After Drake and Chris’ alleged fight at W.i.P., the lyrics of the track seem more appropriate as a threat towards Chris!
In the lyric, “I just ask them when you see me you speak up, ni–a, that’s all. Don’t be ducking like you never wanted nothing,” Drake could be suggesting that Chris mans up in regards to his relationship with Rihanna! If Chris truly wants to get back together with Rihanna, say it!
The rap verse continues, “Might look light, but we heavy though. You think Drake will pull some shit like that? You never know.” Drake suggests that he has guns and he may get violent!
Finally, Drake raps, “You like the fucking finish line, we can’t wait to run into you.” And run into Chris, he did!
Considering that this track was released months before the brawl at W.i.P., there’s a good chance this track is directly aimed at Chris!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Is Drake rapping about Chris Brown?
