The rap superstar could end up in police custody as a result of alleged bottle throwing — do YOU think Drake will be behind bars?
There is a lot of confusion surrounding the details of the violent Chris Brown and Drake fight on June 14 at WIP nightclub in New York City, but sources close to the police investigating this case say that Drake could get arrested for the incident!
Drake, 25, could face arrest as soon as June 16, the New York Post reports. The charge? Reckless endangerment as a result of tossing a bottle during the scuffle. This information is based off of the report of a single witness who claimed they saw Drake throw the projectile — which hit no one.
Furthermore, Chris’ attorney Mark Geragos says he is positive that Drake provoked the incident.
“I believe the police are building a case against Drake and his thugs,” he said. “Clearly, Drake was the instigator, and there is evidence he threw glassware.”
If Drake refuses to give himself up to police, he will allegedly be arrested after his Jones Beach, New York show on June 16.
Meanwhile, TMZ alleges that all of the Post‘s reporting is inaccurate, with law enforcement reportedly telling them that they have “no suspects, complaints or arrest warrants at this time.”
