Yvette Wilson Dead — 'Moesha' Actress Dies At 48

So sad! ‘Moesha’ star Yvette Wilson lost her battle with cervical cancer on June 14.

Yvette Wilson, 48, known for playing Andell Wilkerson on Moesha and spinoff show The Parkers has died after battling stage 4 cervical cancer, TMZ confirmed.

Her Moesha co-star and good friend Shar Jackson tweeted, “F**k Cancer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh god….. My heart is soooo unbelievably broken ….I wanna thank all my tweeties for their prayers but god has chosen to take my sister Yvette home.. …” on the night of June 14.

We’re so sad to hear this news. Our thoughts are with her friends and family in this difficult time.
