Justin did an amazing job when he took the stage in New York City on June 15 to perform on ‘Today’ and Hollywoodlife.com was there to witness it all! Did you love his performance?
Fans were camped out since 6 AM on Tuesday June 12 to see their favorite pop star Justin Bieber – and he certainly made it worth their while!
Beliebers came from all over to see Justin, 18, perform in Rockefeller Plaza including Georgia, Maine, and as far as Sweden! One fan’s sign read “We just drove 14 hours. Why? Because we believe!” The crowd was already chanting, “we want Justin,” two hours before the show even started! The answers were mixed when fans were asked which song they were most excited to hear, but one thing was clear: they just wanted to see Justin! Some fans even got emotional because they were so excited to see Justin!
When Justin finally took the stage, he sang several songs from his upcoming album Believe including “Boyfriend” and “All Around the World.” He also performed his classic hit “Baby,” which really got the crowd singing and dancing!
When Justin sang his new song “As Long As You Love Me,” Big Sean made a special appearance, joining him on stage! During commercial breaks, Justin visited with fans, took pictures, and even gave a few fans high-fives — so sweet!
Justin held a contest for best sign at the concert and the winner received two tickets to one of his upcoming concerts! During the performance, Justin spotted his favorite sign in the crowd that read “My Buzz Lightyear Justin” which included a spinning wheel of Buzz Lightyear chasing Justin. Not only did the young fan get two tickets to Justin’s concert, but she also got to come on stage and meet him!
After the concert was over, Justin mouthed “I love you so much” and blew kisses to the crowd! When the cameras stopped rolling, he exited the stage and fans were so sad to see him go — but the concert wasn’t over yet!
Justin came back on the stage to perform a special song just for the fans! “This is just for you guys because I appreciate you,” he told the crowd right before performing “Die In Your Arms.” The crowd sang along with Justin as he performed his soulful ballad. It’s obvious that Justin really cares about his fans and he gave them a great performance that they will never forget!
