Justin blew the world away from Rockefeller Plaza in New York City! Read on for more details.

There’s Bieber Fever in the Big Apple today!

Justin, 18, performed at The Today Show’s Toyota Concert Series on June 15 and he totally took my breath away. It’s amazing what a long way he’s come. Justin has definitely outgrown his little boy image; he’s totally a talented adult artist now — even when he belts out “Baby.”

Before hitting the stage, Justin sat down with Matt Lauer who asked him about his transition from a teen heartthrob to an adult artist. Justin said it’s been a tough journey.

“I think it’s about proving people,” Justin told Matt. “I can make good music and going out and performing better than everyone else. That’s what you have to do in order for me to crossover or else I’ll be another teen heartthrob.”

Well he definitely proved himself on June 15. Justin’s voice sounded amazing, his dance moves were flawless and the energy was contagious.

This was hands down Justin’s best — and most grown-up — performance to date!
