Miley Cyrus has been receiving flak for getting up close and personal with a male friend, who was NOT fiance Liam Hemsworth! Luckily, a guest staying at the Delano in Miami — where Miley is currently shacked up — gave us the details on the questionable relationship!
While Liam, 22, is filming his new movie Empire State in New Orleans, our source reports that “Miley is in town [Miami] to record her album.” And Miley’s rendezvous in the pool with a mystery man has been solved!
According to our source, there’s no romantic connection between Miley, 19, and her BFF – Cheyne Thomas! The two besties have always been close and Cheyne is in no way a threat to Liam!
Upon seeing Miley arrive at the hotel, our source added that “she came in looking hipster in shorts and high platforms and she had a small entourage with her, including her dog. She had a lot of luggage, it was big luggage. As for the guy, he is definitely a friend and obviously not a boyfriend or love interest. He is def her BFF, they have been friends for a really long time and have been spotted together a lot in the past. It’s stupid for anyone to suspect otherwise and it got totally blown out of proportion. She didn’t take her engagement ring off the whole time and is so excited that she’s getting married! I saw them interacting and it was totally, 100% friendship-y.”

Cheyne Thomas has known Miley for years,and actually met him through her former besite Anna C Oliver,as Anna and Cheyne are
still pretty good friends.
As for Cheyne,I know him personally,and it’s no secret in Hollywood he bats for the other team.
This is why Liam never gets jealous when Cheyne is around.
Cheyne is flirtatious with Miley,but he’s like that with everyone,just his personality.
