Phillip plans to be fully recovered in time for the American Idols Live tour next month! Will you be seeing him in concert?
Finally some good news for Phillip Phillips! The American Idol winner is being released from the hospital June 12, TMZ reports, after undergoing a serious surgery to remove kidney stones. Surgeons needed to use a laser to cut out the stint, which was reportedly left in his body far longer than necessary.
But will Phillip be fully recovered in time for the American Idols Live tour July 6? According to sources close to the big winner, he plans to be fully recovered for the first show in Detroit.
Meanwhile, the 21-year-old crooner will be recovering at one of the Idol executives’ Malibu, Calif., mansions — so don’t feel too badly for him.
Though he hasn’t released an official statement, Phillip has been doing some serious soul searching.
“Its crazy how everyone is so different in this world,” he tweeted late June 11. “Really interesting. But we’re also alike in ways. Just thinking about life. #random”
