Lamar Odom 'Looking Incredible' In Time For U.S. Olympic Team Selection

It hasn’t been the easiest season for Lamar Odom. After being traded to the Dallas Mavericks from the Lakers in the fall, the reality star was listed inactive for the remainder of the season by his new team in early April. You’d think that such a prolonged break would throw Lamar out of the running for this summer’s U.S. Olympic team, right?

Well, a source close to Lamar told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that he is in the best shape of his career, thanks in part to his inactivity on the court.

“Being completely physically ready … is his best chance, since injuries have hampered the team’s dwindling line-up,” the source reveals.

The source claims that Lamar’s cardio and physical work-outs have been “top-notch” and he is feeling great. “He is eager to show the coaching staff that he is a brand-new person, and very healthy and ready.”

“The other players had to play an entire season. He obviously didn’t, so he will be a benefit if he is accepted on the team because he is looking incredible,” the source concludes.

It’s clear Lamar wants this spot on the team. Let’s hope all his hard work pays off. Plus, who doesn’t want to see Khloe Kardashian at the Olympic games?

kloe and lamar make a great couple, but her decietful lie about being with lamar if he wasn’t a basketballl star, she woud have never met him, and Lamar good luck on with the Dream Team. Kloe good luck on having twins thru feritly, if that doesn’t work, why don’t you adopt a child that needs good loving parents, in todays world, why bring another child into this messed up world, when you can help a poor child who is a orphan, just imagine the ratings you would get. why the hell, is this retard Lamar in the team, he doesn’t deserve it at ALL!. He sucked all season and shouldn’t have been selected at all. I would’ve replaced him with Serge Ibaka. Also Kyrie Irving, Dwight Howard, Paul Pierce/Rajon Rondo/KG and Derrick Rose (if he wasn’t injured) need to be on the team instead of some others.

Lamar was traded from the Lakers to the Mavs and really played poorly. Others players have been working hard all year and have actually been productive for their teams. I believe they should be the ones selected to represent the USA. Lamar should have thought about all of this before his game went in the tank. As much as I like Lamar, I do not beleive he should be given a spot on the US Olympic team this year. They spots should be filled by the men who have worked all year and have showed that they are real athletes.

If Lamar had played like the professional he is suppose to be when he was with the Mavs I would be rooting for him to be picked for the U.S. Olympic Team but IMO he doesn’t deserve to be on it. Let the men who performed like professionals get the spot. Grow up Lamar. None of us can get what we want all the time but that doesn’t mean you stop giving it your all.

Despite what press release Bonnie Fuller is reprinting, Lamar has been removed from consideration regarding the Olympic team. Colangelo doesn’t play so sorry Lamar. Go get therapy.
