Kim Raver Reveals Whether Or Not She's Ready For A 'Teddy' Spinoff From 'Grey's Anatomy'

Kim Raver responds to Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes’ idea for a show centered on her character Teddy! Would you like to see her in a spinoff?

Dr. Teddy Altman was fired (kind of) from Seattle Grace in the Grey’s Anatomy season finale and afterward Shonda Rhimes confirmed Kim Raver is leaving the show. But one door shutting might mean another one is opening for the cardiologist!

E! Online talked to Kim about Shonda’s idea for a spinoff show centered on Teddy’s character. “I think that would be great fun. I love working together with [Shonda],” she confessed. “I just think that she’s just sort of one of a kind, so yeah, to be able to do a Teddy spinoff would be quite fun!”

What do you guys think? Would you like to see Teddy have her own show as a chief of staff?

yes but after private practice is over, its just gonna be confusing with 3 shows in same tv show world at once

Yeah!! Ive just been rewatching old GA episodes and watching S7E8 ‘Somethings gotta give’ where Teddy is treating the secret Politician from the middle east and she was good! I think a show with her as MedComm Chief would be awesome…

Cast Colin Ferguson (recently of Syfy’s “Eureka”) in a role with Raver. I always get the impression their chemistry would work.

Yes times one million. It’d be one of the only shows which I’d be interested in watching. Raver’s been a compelling actor to watch since Lipstick Jungle, conveying complex inner responses with her face and sans words. I actually come away from watching her work feeling engaged instead of bored, unmoved, and disbelieving.
