Julianne Hough Reveals Two Surprising Moves She Uses To Stay Fit

Looking for creative ways to get in shape? Julianne Hough, 23, and her trainer Astrid McGuire reveal two surprising workout moves that can help you get a great workout!

The first surprising workout move Julianne uses is called “Standing Abs”. Why does Julianne like them? “They whittle my waist!” she explains. To do “Standing Abs”, stand with your feet apart a little wider than your hips. Lean to your right with your right hand on your leg and place your left hand on your rib cage. Return to center and switch sides. Repeat 50 times while alternating sides.

Julianne’s second workout secret is called “Curtsy Lunges”. Stand with feet together. While keeping your hips facing forward, take a step backwards with your right leg into a lunge as if you are curtseying. Repeat this move alternating legs 24 times. These are great exercises because according to Julianne, “They work the entire leg!”
