In a new interview, Rob opens up about his fears regarding the way fans will react to his new work.

Rob Pattinson has hardly been shy when it comes to discussing his insecurities about his work, so it’s no surprise that he’s opened up even further in a recent interview with Total Film magazine.

When discussing how much of a game-changer his performance in Cosmopolis is for his career, the 26-year-old actor admits that he is worried about everyone’s reactions, even going so far as to say, “I’m absolutely terrified!”

Though, when asked specifically how he feels his Twilight fans will react to the film, Rob concedes, saying “I think they’ll like it.”

He adds, “The only thing they wouldn’t like is the same thing that anyone wouldn’t like – if it was sh*t. But I think it’s a good film.”

Something tells us Rob doesn’t have much to worry about, but what do you think, HollywoodLifers?

Are YOU going to be first in line to support Rob when Cosmopolis opens?

I’m looking forward to Cosmopolis, can’t wait to see it. Rob, if they are true fans, they will love you regardless what role you take on. I think you’re extremly talented so don’t sell yourself short.

That is what makes you such a divine actor, taking on roles outside a comfort zone, or fan based expectancy. You are not Edward and I know you want to be loved for your talent not a character. I believe you could play as Joe dirt or Michael myers and we still would be drueling over you, I know I would be!

Nothing will make a difference so long as you are with Kristen. Twi hards would always want to see you both together. Never mind those movies you have with other woman, they were just on screen. what is important is that you must stay LOYAL and TRUTHFUL to Kristen.

wow Melody, what a shallow thing to say…you just proved that the fans care more about his personal life than his work. And NO, it is his life he is not going to stay in a relationship to please fat and bored women and little pathetic girls who se it for entertainment
