What are some beauty faux pas you would never do in public? Putting on lipstick in public, brushing your hair, etc. — Natalie H. in Miami
Who doesn’t need a little touching up throughout the day especially in the hot summer months? When you need to refresh yourself, pop into the ladies room to brush your hair and reapply your makeup. I’m not a big fan of applying cosmetics in public except for lipstick, which you can reapply discreetly after eating or drinking. KEEP IT GORGEOUS!
What are your favorite beauty must-haves — the products you swear by? — Jennifer T. in New York City
I’m a huge fan of sampling beauty products before you buy them. Stop by the makeup counter and ask for samples to take home and you’ll save money by only buying products that work for you. During the summer, I couldn’t live without Shiseido blotting paper for quick touchups to keep my skin looking matte and fresh on the go. Cargo HydraBronzer is a must for a sun-kissed look and don’t forget the sunscreen. I like Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35 for coverage or Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen that has a no-shine finish for the beach. For lips, I love L’Oreal’s Infallible Lip Cerise. FABULOUS!
Feel free to ask the Countess more questions on HollywoodLife.com‘s Facebook & Twitter accounts! And tune in tonight at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo to see the new episode of Real Housewives of New York City.
