Emily has dinner with Sean in the Tower of London, dresses the boys in tights to perform Shakespeare, opens a can of whoop ass on Kalon and makes out with Jef—what else could you want in two hours! Here are all the juicy details!
Emily takes her remaining 10 suitors across the pond to London where the makeouts were intense–and so was all the drama!
Date 1 One-on-one: Sean
Sean gets a card that reads, ‘love takes no prisoners,’ and the pair set off on a double-decker bus tour of the city. Along the way they snap some perf photo moments. Sean gets up on a public podium and waxes poetic about his views on love. Emily eats it up. The two cap the date off with dinner in The Tower of London. Emily says, “Sean is totally my prisoner of love tonight!” Over dinner, Emily tells Sean, ‘you have everything that could make you perfect but you’re humble.’ She then goes on to say he’s ‘the perfect package’, and ‘marriage material’. Naturally, Sean gets the rose and the two share a passionate smooch.
Date 2 Group date
The card reads, “A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet.” Kalon, bitter he doesn’t get the one on one, says, “to me the [rose] smells like sh*t”. Emily and the guys head to Stratford-upon-Avon, where they perform scenes from Romeo and Juliet. Kalon acts like his role as Romeo is a Broadway audition while all the other guys have fun with it. He then proceeds to shoo Emily away when she comes to see what they’re up to, saying ‘we need to get back to rehearsals — you can run along’. Needless to say, Emily was not too happy, given this is the second time Kalon’s insulted her.
The guys get into costume and act out scenes. Emily on Kalon’s performance, “[He] got the most romantic lead in any Shakpeare play and it was like the least romantic scene.” Aerie cracks up the crowd as the nurse, which attracts Emily to him even more. Ryan moves in for a kiss and then moves in for a second one.
Later that night….
Doug takes it upon himself to tell Emily Kalon referred to Ricki as ‘baggage’. Emily is furious, and says, “I want to go out there and rip his limbs off and beat him with them.” And then abondons her sweet Southern belle manners and threatens to go all ‘West Virgina hood rat back woods on his ass!”
Kalon has nothing to say for himself and Emily sends him packing, worrying about her own judgement–that she let someone that terrible like Kalon slip through the cracks. She opts not to hand out the rose and goes home feeling like no one had her back and the guys should’ve come to her sooner with Kalon’s shenanigans.
Date 3 one-on-one with Jef
The two have afternoon tea with an etiquette teacher. The one on one Jef was so looking forward to ‘just turned into a two on one with Jean (the teacher) and Emily,’ Jef says to the camera. The pair can’t get any time alone, so they decide to ditch the tea and head to a nearby pub. Jef reveals he was the one sitting there when Kalon referred to Ricki as ‘baggage’.
Jef tells Emily he stuck up for her and says, ‘If Ricki’s baggage, than she’s a Chloe bag that I want to have forever’. Emily reveals she’s still unsure about how Jef feels for her. Yet, over dessert on the London Eye, Jef puts her fears to rest when he says,’i think we have huge potential.’ Jef gets the rose and finally kisses Emily, but not before revealing, “This is the most anticipated kiss of my life!”
Emily cozies up with Sean, saying, “he gives me butterflies in my heart.”
Ryan begins to win Emily over with his charm. Emily says, ‘He’s so smooth and thinks he can get any girl and here i am falling for him!’
With just 6 roses left to hand out, the guys are feeling the heat. Emily tells the group they restored her faith in all of this after coming into the night feeling beaten up.
Alejandro goes home. No big shocker there since the two barely interacted.
We find out the next stop on the love trip is Croatia.
And now another week of torture until episode 6!
