'RHONJ' Recap: Teresa Giudice Refuses To Go To Therapy With Joe Gorga

Joe Gorga attempts to fix his relationship with Teresa, but she refuses therapy as an option. Read on for more dramatic details from the June 10 episode!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey kicked off with another one of Teresa Giudice’s troubling tabloid rumors.

As the ladies prepared for Caroline Manzo‘s brother’s wedding in Chicago they were interrupted by In Touch magazine that had Teresa — and a puppy — on the cover. But what was printed inside the pages really wreaked havoc. Teresa allegedly said her friends — the fellow housewives — were bullying her for “being poor.”

Jacqueline Laurita didn’t hesitate to ask Teresa about the truth right away.

“Why did they write your friends are bullying you?” Jacqueline asked.

“They ask me questions and I answer,” Teresa responded, suggesting that the mag twisted her words.

Hmm! But back at the Jersey Shore, Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile were very distraught about what the article said.

“You can’t publish crap like this. This is good for firewood,” Kathy said.

Back in the Windy City, the wedding group practiced their English accents which became really awkward when Teresa called Kate MiddetonKate Hudson.

Back at the shore, Joe Giudice had a heart-to-heart chat with Richie Wakile. Joe revealed that Teresa hasn’t responded to his texts recently. Richie suggested he try one more time and that they go to therapy. Joe agreed and said he’s definitely considering therapy, but that it would be pointless if Teresa isn’t going to even respond to his texts. Understandable.

At the wedding, Teresa says she received a text — notifying her that her book made it on the New York Times bestseller list.

But later when she was alone with Jacqueline, she said that she did receive a text from her brother saying he was thinking of her and that he hasn’t heard back from her regarding therapy. But Teresa said she feels “uncomfortable” about going to therapy and that she doesn’t need it.

“This is his idea. He shouldn’t force me to go. He should go with his wife,” Teresa told Jaqueline.

Jaqueline disagreed.

“I feel like she’s so far gone I can’t even help her,” Jaqueline said.

Yikes! The wedding went on and the Gorga/Wakile families partied on the shore. But next week’s episode looks like it’s going to be a super dramatic throw down between Teresa, Caroline and Jacqueline.

What’s with Kim G telling Teresa she doesn’t need therapy, doen’t she watch the show. Joe is trying, she is SO jealous of Melissa, it’s plain as the nose on her face. Teresa says she doesn’t repeat stuff to her husband, she does!!! and makes herself look good to him. He is the rusest guy I ever set eyes on. Caroline, Melissa and Jacquie are the best. Teresa may be beautiful but she’s ugly inside.

The magazine being quoted on the show was actually “In Touch”…& Melissa + Kathy were more disgusted rather than distraught/upset. They seemed more fed up rather than distraught, & I wouldn’t even have given the magazine any attention if I were those ladies. In Touch is pretty notorious dot publishing not-so-reliable information & citing “unnamed sources” that can never really be verified.

I just loved how everyone had the magazine and was talking about it. Very convenient. Joe Gorga doesn’t really want to go to therapy and he knows Teresa wouldn’t go which is why he asked her to go so that she would be the bad guy. Richi Wakile is an a**hole. He does nothing but bring up Teresa in every scene. He also tells Joe what to do. The man has no mind or will of his own. Everyone is so petty about every little thing and you know what, magazines do add things that aren’t said by the person that is being interviewed. Get a life..
