Politics have never looked so smolder-y! Ian Somerhalder — along with other celebs, including Diana Agron, Sophia Bush, Anna Kendrick and more — met with President Barack Obama on June 7 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to talk “green energy, a better America & being a young American,” according to a very excited tweet from Ian.
“Fricking awesome day,” Ian tweeted later. “Met Obama,edited script Im writing my w/scribe partner now getting on plane for Germany.Wow.See you again soon Europe;)”

By the way, the next time loads of money is invested in “green technology”, perhaps Hollywood and Mr. Obama can use and lose their own money and not ours. While we “greedy” Americans are admonished for keeping our thermostats to a comfortable 73 degrees (gasp….the audacity) people of this ilk jet-set around the world in airplanes, live in huge excess, and then claim to replace their “carbon footprint”. What a joke! Elitists and hypocrites. I applaud the spirit of what some of these actors are trying to accomplish – they simply don’t understand the concept of unintended consequences along with the fact they will support blindly far, far left groups and indeed be used themselves.
