Seven siblings from a family with 18 children — 14 of whom are adopted — are graduating at the same time with high honors! Are these the best parents in America or what?
The seven Seitz brothers and sisters — Noah, Rebekah, Joshua, Caleb, Abigail, Hannah, and Nathaniel – are getting their diplomas with top marks!
They may be from different corners of the world, but the Seitz siblings, hailing from Asia to Africa, have two loving parents in common – Jan and Garry Seitz.
Tampa Bay Online reported that the 60-something couple from Lakeland, Florida have devoted themselves to raising their 18 children, 14 of whom are adopted.
“A lot of us we didn’t expect to graduate when we were in our countries because … growing up we just lived each day like it was the next one,” said Rebekah, who is from Vietnam.
The husband and wife said their decision to adopt was easy. “It’s just always been on my heart since I was a little girl that I thought adopting would be neat,” said Jan, 65.
Gary, 66, said he couldn’t “imagine what it would be like without them.”
The seven children will be off to college next year at different schools.
The family plans to bring two more teens from China later this year.
