The Hamptons is always the place to be ‘seen’ during the summertime and celebs are flocking to this new swanky Grecian dream!

Thrown on your hottest outfit and get ready to feel like you’re parting on the Greek islands. attended the opening of Nammos, a Mediterranean restaurant in Southampton over Memorial Day weekend and it was très chic. It’s the perfect place to grab a delicious meal and hang around after — for a party to rival an exotic vacation!

The restaurant has a Greek influence, and is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. You can get any of your Greek faves including their signature dish: the soft shell crab moussaka. The reason the food is off the charts is due to the expertise of executive chef Emmanouil Aslanoglou who has won his share of gourmet awards.

Not only are celebs like Kelly Ripa already hitting up this venue, but celeb loved DJ Cassidy has already spun at the spot. But the success of this newly opened gem is no doubt because of nightlife veterans Alex Julian and Eric Marx who are overseeing this entire venture.

If you haven’t checked out this spot, put it at the top of your list!

I visited Nammos and was not impressed by their chef, their prices, their service or their atmosphere. This wanna be hott spot is out of control on their prices even for the Hamptons. The servers were rude, and I am not sure you should call it fine dining when you have to raise your voice to a scream level just to have a discussion with the person next to you. I prefer to dine in the many other wonderful places East Hampton & Wainscott have to offer.
