Miley Cyrus' Diamond Engagement Ring -- $100,000

HollywoodLife.com spoke with jeweler Neil Lane, who sold Liam Hemsworth the beautiful sparkler!

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth‘s recent engagement is sparking all kinds of reactions from friends, family and fans. But one thing’s not up for debate: Liam’s got great taste in jewelry — and he’s not cheap, either!

Neil Lane tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Miley’s engagement ring is a 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond ring, handcrafted in 18-karat gold with intricately carved diamond floral motifs in an art nouveau pattern. And the center stone is extra special: it’s an antique dating back to the late 19th century.”

(Nicely done, Liam! Men, take notes.)

Mitchell Egenberg, diamond expert and jeweler to the stars, estimated the ring to be valued at approximately $100,000, depending on the color of the diamond.

But according to Mitchell, “This guy’s no slouch.” In his professional opinion, Liam went for a high-quality colored stone.
