As soon as news broke of Miley and Liam’s engagement, fans — and celebs! — took to Twitter to offer their best wishes the happy couple.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are getting married — and their fans and colleagues couldn’t be happier! Moments after media reports of the couple’s engagement went viral, Twitter exploded with an outpouring of congratulations and support.
“Omg!! Congrats @mileycyrus!! :D” tweeted, American Idol alum, Jordin Sparks.
“Loved seeing them together in Arizona a few months ago. Best wishes to you @mileycyrus,” wrote actress and singer, Rita Wilson.
After dating for three years, Liam, 22, popped the question on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring. “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” Miley, 19, told People.
Despite their young age, Miley and Liam are receiving lots of support from their fans.
“Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are engaged? Oh my god. I’ve always wanted that. I love them so much. They’re perfect,” tweeted one fan.
“OMFG LETS JUST ALL CRY WITH HAPPINESS CAUSE LIKE THEY ARE JUST PERFECT,” posted another fan.
Still, there are bound to be a few skeptics. “Who’s taking bets on how long it will last… I give them 2 years,” another user commented.
“Hope it doesn’t end in achey breaky heart,” posted another Miley follower.
