The star opens up to ‘Vanity Fair’ about the painful memories of getting mocked for not shaving her legs, and how “it really bothered” her. Read on to see what she had to say about her style evolution.
If you’re looking at Kristen Stewart‘s gorgeous couture photo shoot in the July 2012 issue of Vanity Fair, it’s hard to believe that the star, covered in couture, wasn’t always comfortable in the intricate designs. She opened up to the mag, saying, “Look at a picture of me before I was 15. I am a boy. I wore my brother’s clothes, dude! Not like I cared that much, but I remember being made fun of because I wasn’t wearing Juicy jeans. I didn’t even think about it. I wore my gym clothes. But it’s not like I didn’t care that they made fun of me. It really bothered me. I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like, ‘Oh my God! That’s disgusting—you don’t shave your legs!”
While she didn’t pay much attention to what she wore back then, now she gets the chance to walk the red carpet in a slew of sexy and chic high-fashion creations. From stunning gowns to flirty minis, her style has definitely evolved! She said she gets to wear “some cool shit” now, from some of the world’s top designers.
The star has definitely embraced the fact that she has some of the most gorgeous creations at her disposal — and she looks so confident and cool showing them off!

I know how it feels to get mocked because you are different I had a very hard time when I was little (I’m 12 now) because I have ginger hair and other people envy my hair couler but one girl didn’t like me and kept calling me names and lots of other things like ginger nut biscuit and carrot top And it was a bad time for me because i was scared to go to schoo so I know how it feels. I am like a tomboy never wear heels always sneakers and never dresses plain top baggy tops and shorts or jeans never in my life have I worn a dress and heels. So I know how it feels to get mocked because you are different.
