Oh no — is Rob ashamed of ‘Twilight’? Journalists were told they couldn’t ask him about the vampire series!
Robert Pattinson looked handsome as always at a Cosmopolis photo call in Toronto today. One big thing was missing from conversation though — talk of Twilight. It was forbidden!
Journalist Teri Hart revealed that the press was told they couldn’t ask any personal questions, or questions involving vampires or werewolves. (Duh, why would they ask about Jacob?) She said it was “not allowed” to be raised as a subject.
We understand Rob wants to focus on his new Cronenberg film but he shouldn’t ignore how he made his fame! Luckily, Teri reveals he did say he thinks his Twilight fans will like Cosmopolis, so looks like someone snuck in a forbidden Twilight question after all.
What do you guys think? Is it weird the press can’t ask about Twilight? Especially since it is still winning awards back in the US! Let us know your thoughts below.

I agree Rob isn’t ashamed of Twilight but he’s trying to Promote Cosmopolis! The Media needs to know that they are F*cking things up for him when all you want to talk about is Twilight. No one will want to Hire him if people cannot focus on the current movie and NOT Twilight! I am the BIGGEST Most ROBSESSED Rob/Kristen/Twilight Fan But it’s NOT about Twilight right now it’s about the “current” movie Cosmopolis!!!

Regardless of who set the rules, it must be annoying to constantly be asked about Twilight when he’s trying to promote another movie. He shouldn’t have to talk about his private life and should only be asked about Cosmopolis. Maybe they didn’t want anybody to bring up the MTV awards. It may have just been a case of trying to avoid possible negativity. Even though he is moving on from Twilight that doesn’t mean he’s going to forget. That’s like Harrison Ford forgetting about Han Solo and Indiana Jones. It will never happen. We the fans have known since the first Twilight movie that he is so much more than Edward. It’s an honor and privilage to watch him act in any movie he has done and will do. The critics are the ones who have type cast him not us. It’s seems like Cosmopolis has finally made some of the critics put their feet in their mouths! If fans were in charge of handing out Oscars he and Kristen would both have rooms full of them. Twilight opened doors for Rob and Kristen but most importantly brought them into eachothers lives. You don’t ever forget something like Twilight.

He didn’t snub Twilight. He probably had no choice as to the rules. The Cosmopolis people of course would want the questions to be about their movie as that is what he was there to promote. Stop trying to make something up about Rob trying to get hits on your story… I am sure he didn’t make the rules!

I bet the ground rules were set up by a publicist or the Cosmopolis people. They would want the focus on Cosmopolis since that is what he is currently promoting. They wouldn’t want the talk to turn to another movie. I bet Rob didn’t even know or didn’t have a say on those rules. Love Rob can’t wait to see Cosmopolis and BD#2

I am sure it was the publicist that put down those rules. I bet Rob knew nothing about it. He doesnt seem like the type of guy to snub Twilight. He is there to promote his new movie so why would he talk about another project?
I think if the press tries to make this in to a “snub” type of thing its stupid, and its only to generate more press for themselves. People try to make so much drama out of nothing in this world, its sad!

I think it wasn’t “allowed” because it’s not a Twilight film, it’s as simple as that- It’s Cosmopolis, they certainly wanna focus on that :) I think he is OK with Twilight questions being asked. I’m a big Kristen and Rob fan and I’m totally OK with them not talking ’bout Twilight the whole time when they’re promoting other movies…:)

HL is stupid. Robert is promoting Cosmopolis. It would be stupid to spend most of the time talking about Twilight.
