True Blood Spoiler: Tara Is Alive In Season 5

A ghost? A vampire? Alan Ball & Rutina Wesley give fans a clue about how we’ll see Tara this season.

We all know the fifth season of True Blood will feature the return of fan-favorite villain Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare), but there’s one return fans are still in the dark about — until now! Creator Alan Ball confirms that gunshot-victim Tara (Rutina Wesley) is “still a part of the show,” but it’s still anyone’s guess as to how she’ll continue existing in Bon Temps.

“I’m sure fans have a lot of different ideas of how that could be possible,” Alant told TVGuide.com at the fifth season premiere party March 30. “One of those ideas is correct.”

Rutina, herself, also spilled some details about Tara’s return.

“Bill and Eric can’t come running to the rescue,” she confessed, adding that Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) are too busy following their own tag-team murder of Nan. She also said the real interesting part to watch will be “Tara’s reaction to Sookie and Sookie’s reaction to Tara. … All I can say is it’s charged.”

I think sooki has a new power and she learns to use it and maybe Tara could become a fairy too

Well, if Tara comes back as a Vamp, it will be a miracle. The scene where Tara is shot happens in daylight. Watch the previews. Remember when Tara returned from New Orleans? Sookie had a Fairy vision as Tara came up on her. I’m thinking Sookie’s powers may be a big part of Season 5. Lafayette may be a part of it, too…6 more days!

After the pam/ tara hatefest last season, the best possible scenario would be Pam turning Tara. That dynamic would be hilarious and so full of potention they’d be idiots not to take advantage of it. :D

I think Lafayette will use his powers to save her…

I think Sookie heals her with her fairy powers, something else that she didn’t know she could do…..because she is still trying to figure out how her powers work.
