Rob earned his fame from playing a vampire in ‘Twilight’ but he still doesn’t understand why people love vamps!
Robert Pattinson loves his Twilight fans but that doesn’t mean he understands them. “I have never understood the fascination with vampires,” he tells Empire magazine.“I mean, people are obsessed and I don’t know why,” Rob continues. “I know the history of it; I find it interesting to think there are true stories of things in, say, Romania. I like all the conspiracy theory aspects of it, but I guess when doing Twilight that is why all the vampire people hate us, because we didn’t have fangs, don’t get burnt in the sunlight or anything. I didn’t really have to do any research about vampires.”
Rob is so funny! The Cullens definitely broke the vampire mold but nobody can deny that from now on, Twilight is an important part of “vampire history”. Even if the star of the movie doesn’t get the obsession!

okay seriously he keeps dissing twilight which made him what he is now..if it wasn’t for twilight rob’s talent wouldn’t be seen that much and he wouldn’t have all the movies he’s doing now..so now he’s rebeling on twilight and vampires, i mean i hate twilight but dissing the reason you’re famous is really annoying !!

I don’t think he was dissing Twilight. Just talking about Vampires and also the quotes were a piece of an interview kind of out of context.

He’s Not Dissing Twilight! Every time he says something about Twilight or Vampires it’s misconstrued! He’s saying he doesn’t understand the obsession with Vampires in general. Re-read it maybe you’ll comprehend the paragraph the 2nd time around. As for Rob I can’t speak for everyone but YOUR fans are Obsessed with you or should I say ROBSESSED with YOU!!! :D
