Robert Pattinson has already packed his post-Twilight schedule with Bel Ami and Cosmopolis, but now he’s in talks to star in a film adaptation of Owen Laukkanen’s debut novel The Professionals. But do you think Rob can pull off an R-rated crime thriller?
MTV sat down with Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey to discuss his thoughts on who should win Best Kiss at this Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards — we already know who Kristen Stewart wants to win — and Wyck spilled details on a possible post-Twilight working relationship between himself and Rob!
“There’s a book called The Professionals, which is a new crime thriller that Rob has read and really likes,” Godfrey said. “We’re just starting to look at a writer [to adapt it]. It’s kind of a ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ for today, and he would be fantastic in the role. It’s in the early days; we’ll see.”
Hollywoodlifers, do YOU think Rob can handle an R-rated flick? Godfrey said, ”[Rob's] an adult now.” We have to agree!
