Nazi Parents Lose Children Named Adolf Hitler & Aryan Nation

Nazi Parents Custody Battle

A New Jersey Superior Court judge decided that pro-Nazi parents Heath and Deborah Campbell cannot have their four kids back, three of whom were named in honor of Nazis.

And you thought some celebrity kid names were bad! Adolf Hitler Campbell, 6, and his younger sisters Joycelynn Aryan Nation, 4, and Honszlynn Hinler, 4, and 6-month-old Hons Campbell will not be returned to their parents Heath and Deborah Campbell after a long battle.

The father, Heath, questioned Superior Court Judge Robert Reed’s decision to keep the children in state custody.

“These kids weren’t abused. Our kids weren’t taken because of abuse,” he said to nj.com on May 29. “I’m honest about who I am and what I am.”

The three older kids were taken away in January 2009 when a store refused to decorate a birthday cake for Adolf Hitler, the oldest child, who was then 3-years old.

Little Hons was taken just hours after he was born in November, 2011.

Heath said he saw his children roughly a year ago. He is also now separated from his wife, Deborah.

“If I have to give up my Nazism, then so be it. I’ll do it,” Heath said. The children are “more my heart and soul and everything than anything.”

The family plans to appeal.

Well you gotta give the parents some credit for even knowing other figures in the Nazi party other than Hitler. However, I feel so bad for the little brats for growing up in such a hate inducing environment.,

After being taken from their parents are the childrens name going to be changed. I think that’s a violation of the civil rights by law. If they were named after an indian chief would that make any difference in who they are or who they will become. Everyone has a right as to who they want to be as long as they do not force there rights on anyone else. There is enough hate in this country.

AS much as I hate anything nazi, people still have the right to be stupid. Cn we arrest anyone who names their kids Benedict, Mohammed, or Hussein?

Changed birthname

Posted at 9:49 AM on June 1, 2012

My parents named all their children ridicules names- pretty much mom flipped through the bible and at random chose difficult to spell names- my brother’s middle name was misspelled on everything because no one could remember what it was on the birth certificate. My brother and I legally changed our names to something easier on us and everyone else.
So basically, parents name their children stupidly- then they grow up and fix it ourselves.
For the kids to be taken away has to be more than just them being badly named- there has to be something else or else there would be many children taken away if the government objected to what their parents named them. .

seems like there should be more to this story than what is printed here. I really don’t believe DCF or anyone else can take your kids for your beliefs. I don’t go along with their beliefs but, that’s why we have free speech, etc!

Thinking American

Posted at 9:18 AM on June 1, 2012

Calm down folks. There are a lot of details missing from this story, as is usually the case. When this story first came out 3 years ago, good ole Heath hammed it up for the cameras and denied even being a nazi. He said he was just exercising his right to free speech. Well Wal-Mart had the right to refuse to decorate that cake. He should have left it alone, instead of running to the media. Before you go on a crusade, make sure there is no dirty laundry in the back of your closet. If you’ve been beating your wife and kids, it’s going to come out.

No oddly enough, his wife has left him. Most likely because of the abuse he is denying. Maybe she finally figured out that the kids should have been more to her than following this nut down the path of seeking fame by any means necessary.

I have read some of the comments and I am surprised, the kids are not being taken away for what they are named it is because there is a history of domestic violence and abuse and neglect in the household and no shock he is seperated from his wife. You think they are the first neo-nazi parents come on, I sure it is alot of little adolphs running around. They could not take the kids away based on what they are named, that would be unconsitutional.

I am not sure what the standard is in that part of the world for removing a child from a family, but in Texas, naming your child some ridiculous name is NOT the standard. The child must be abused, battered, or subject to mental abuse in Texas before the parent-child relationship can be terminated. I guess it can be argued that naming your child “Adolph Hitler . . .” is abuse in itself, in that the rest of the world will be hating the child and his parents, but unless the child was being hit or starved, I simply cannot agree that this rises to “abuse” sufficient to terminate the parent child relationship.

That said – I wonder what the State will now re-name these children? Perhaps “Berry Soetero Obama” for the boy? And “Jane Fonda Campbell” for the girl? I mean, who actually gets to name these kids now? What is a “state friendly” name?

Whoever adopts them from foster care gets to decide if they will get a different name if so, they will also get to choose the name. Fyi…I have read that it wasn’t their names that was the reason for the removal of children..

This was a case of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, it has nothing to do with the names of these kids. You ppl need to check all your sources before making stupid comments on blogs!

while I don’t agree with the thinking of the parent, they do have aright to free speech. Freedon of speech is something that we are SUPPOSED to have under the constitution, but God forbid if we use certain words – then we are racisr..

I bet those rednecks can’t speak German. They just want to romanticize a part of history that Germans would rather forget. I don’t understand the KKK, Neo-Nazis and other groups. I would take their kids away from them too. They are not giving these little guys a healthy environment. If you support them staying with the parents you’re screwed up…

I do not agree with the KKK or neo nazis. But how is naming your child a punishable offense. Then name itself should not dictate anything. Supporting any parents in a battle to get there kids back is never screwed up. Unless they are beating or having sex with them. So now the state can tell you what names can and cannot be used. This from the state that has residents with the name of Snooki. Adolf Hitler and Aryan were not evil names until after WWII, and giving them evil now just means maybe they won more then we realize.

I agree that names can be changed, and it’s true people practice different religions. If it is not a case of “Abuse” and this is all about teaching them Nazism, these parents really need to rethink their choices. However, having said that, so many people teach their children hate & bigotry. Look at the KKK. Look at the fanatic middle eastern groups, Do they take those children away? Do they not all teach hatred?

I guess we need to read further into this case to determine exactly why they were taken. The father stated if it was based on his “Nazism” then he’d for-go it. It sounds to me as if there is a lot more to this that we aren’t being made aware. This is America, There are lines we shouldn’t cross, and as Mike R stated, names can be changed. Perhaps they need to rethink them!

Okay, basics, the children where taken away( and had been) for a history of domestic violence, not because of their names. So Yes, the court was RIGHT!

If that is true. Then the courts might be right. Even though a history of something proves nothing. But this article does not refer to this, and that is why no one is discussing that. The article says it was for names, and that is not right.
