Xavier Samuel Breaking Dawn

This ‘Twilight’ star says that when Twi-hards hit theaters next November they’re going to be in for a total treat when they see Kristen in all her vampire glory — read on for the interview!

Before Xavier Samuel became known for his starring role as Riley Biers in Twilight, the actor shot a horror flick! spoke to Xavier about his film The Loved Ones that hits theaters June 1, the same day as Kristen Stewart‘s Snow White and the Huntsman — and he spilled all his co-star’s Breaking Dawn vampire secrets (sort of)!

“I think the whole trilogy well plus two has been leading up to this moment where she becomes a vampire,” he tells us. “I think it’s safe to say people won’t be disappointed … she makes a good vampire.”

Xavier admits that it’s sort of funny that his movie is coming out on the same day as Kristen’s SWATH — but which will he see on opening day?

“I’m not sure we are really in competition,” he says. “But it’s awesome that Kristen has gone leaps and bounds and I hope the same happens for everyone. I’m going to try and catch Snow White and the Huntsman.”

In The Loved Ones, Xavier plays Brent Mitchell, a guy who turns down Lola Stone [Robin McLeavy] when she asks him to prom. Then she and her dad kidnap him on prom night and torture him — scary!

“I had done this film before before Twilight it was an interesting progression to go from that to playing a vampire,” he says. “Thankfully I wasn’t tortured on my prom night and no one planted a power drill in my face — nothing too exciting.”
